We know it's been a tough month for Synthetic reliability, and we've been making a slew of improvements to our infrastructure.

From custom patches to our load balancer, to Kubernetes configuration improvements, to deep improvements to our queue handling infrastructure, we've been hard at work making Synthetic more reliable and outage-proof.

As an LLM infrastructure company, we take reliability and stability very seriously. We're confident the improvements we've made will improve stability going forward, and we hope if you were impacted by any downtime, you'll give us another try!

We're incredibly excited to announce our first full time hire: Steph!

Here's her intro in her own words:

Hey everyone, I'm Steph and I'm super excited to be joining Synthetic! The thriving community of supporters for Synthetic blew me away and I'm excited to help make our products even more spiffy for y'all!

Along with Elly who has been helping us with growth, Steph will be working on Octofriend, our friendly terminal cephalopod, though she'll likely be making contributions to Synthetic across the board. She's already contributed some improvements!

Many users already find Octofriend a surprisingly intelligent cephalopod, with its specially trained fix models and ability to change model mid-conversion.

We believe with some love Octofriend can be the best coding agents, and we're excited for Steph to help us make it happen!

We've been making a ton of improvements, including
