As discussed elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, we do not currently share the personal information of California residents with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. However, if you have further questions about our privacy practices and compliance with California law, please contact us as explained below.

We do not make any decisions regarding users solely using automated decision making (including profiling) based on users' personal information. User's payments may be blocked by our third party payments provider where there is a potential risk of fraudulent activity, and we may block access of uploading of data to our Services where our systems identify potential unlawful or harmful content (e.g. violent, hateful, or abusive content).
If you are resident in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you have the following rights, as a data subject, under applicable data protection laws in relation to your personal information:
| User's Right | Description |
|---|---|
| Request access to the User's personal information | This enables you to receive a copy of your personal information that we hold and to check that we are lawfully processing it. You will not have to pay a fee to access their personal information (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we could refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances. |
| Request correction of the personal information that we hold about you | You can require us to correct any mistakes in your personal information. You must provide us with enough information to identify you (e.g., username, institution's details) and let us know the information that is incorrect and what it should be replaced with. |
| Request erasure of your personal information | This enables you to ask us to delete or remove your personal information where there is no permitted reason for us to continue to process it. You can ask us to erase your personal information where: • you do not believe that we need your personal information in order to process it for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice; • if you have given us consent to process your personal information, you then withdraw that consent and we cannot otherwise legally process your personal information; • you object to our processing and we do not have any legitimate interests that mean we can continue to process your personal information; or • your personal information has been processed unlawfully or has not been erased when it should have been. |
| Object to processing of your personal information | Where we are relying on a legitimate interest (or those of a third party) and there is something about your particular situation that makes you want to object to processing on this ground as you feel it impacts on your fundamental rights and freedoms. You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal information for direct marketing purposes. In some cases, we may demonstrate that we have compelling legitimate grounds to process your personal information which override your rights and freedoms. |
| Request restriction of processing of your personal information | This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of your personal information in the following scenarios: • if you want us to establish the accuracy of the personal information; • where our use of the personal information is unlawful but you do not want us to erase it; • where you need us to hold the personal information even if we no longer require it as you need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims; or • you have objected to our use of the personal information, but we need to verify whether we have overriding legitimate grounds to use it. |
| Request the transfer of your personal information to you or to a third party | You can require us to provide to you, or a third party you have chosen, your personal information in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. This right only applies to automated personal information that you initially provided consent for us to use or where we used the personal information to perform a contract with you. |
| Withdraw consent at any time where we are relying on consent to process your personal information | This will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdraw your consent. If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide you with access to the Site, our premises or comply with any contract we have with you. We will advise you if this is the case at the time that you withdraw consent. |
To exercise any of the rights set out above, please contact us using the contact details below. Where you have any such rights under applicable laws, we will respond to your request to exercise such right within one (1) month of receiving the request, unless the request is complex, in which case it may take longer.
We may need to request specific information from you to help confirm your identity and your right to access the personal information (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal information is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.
Please be aware that there are exceptions and exemptions that apply to some of the rights, which we will apply in accordance with the applicable data protection laws.
In addition to the above rights, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We would, however, appreciate the chance to deal with your concerns before you approach any supervisory authority and if you reach out using the contact details provided below in the first instance.
We may change this privacy notice from time to time, including as required to keep current with rules and regulations, new technologies and security standards. When we do, we will post the change(s) on our Site. If we change the policy in a material and retroactive manner, we will provide appropriate notice to you.
